A second wave of operations was carried out in the bribery and corruption investigation against the Şile Municipality. In the operation, 23 suspects were detained.

As part of the efforts carried out by the Financial Crimes Investigation Department of the Istanbul Police Department, coordinated by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an operation was conducted this morning based on the information and documents obtained from a previous operation targeting the Şile Municipality regarding bribery and extortion crimes. A total of 23 suspects were apprehended and taken into custody, including 1 who is in prison.
