CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION LED BY Ö.H. WAS PUT UNDER SURVEILLANCE
Under the coordination of the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the Istanbul Police Department's Organized Crime Branch Directorate and Intelligence Branch Directorate conducted investigations, putting under surveillance a criminal organization determined to be engaged in organized criminal activities on the Anatolian side of Istanbul and led by Ö.H.
During the investigations, it was determined that the suspects were involved in numerous different acts of 'Aggravated Robbery', 'Attempted Intentional Homicide', 'Intentional Wounding', 'Armed Threats', 'Violation of Law No. 6136 on Firearms and Knives and Other Tools', 'Knowingly Endangering General Safety', and 'Undertaking a Crime'.
18 SUSPECTS CAUGHT
Following technical and physical surveillance, teams took action and carried out a simultaneous operation to apprehend the suspects. 18 suspects were caught and detained in the operation. The investigation is ongoing.
