In the efforts to shed light on the incidents of shooting and wounding, coordinated by the Istanbul Public Prosecutor's Office and carried out jointly by the Public Order Branch Directorate and the Intelligence Branch Directorate of the Istanbul Police Department, 8 people were detained.
In operations carried out by the Public Order Branch Directorate of the Istanbul Police Department, jointly with the Intelligence Branch Directorate and coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, to shed light on shootings and injury incidents, 8 people were taken into custody.
8 SUSPECTS CAUGHT
In operations conducted by the Public Order Branch Directorate of the Istanbul Police Department, jointly with the Intelligence Branch Directorate and coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a simultaneous operation was carried out on August 14, 2026, in 2 provinces, centered in Istanbul and also covering Ankara, to apprehend suspects identified as being involved in 4 separate incidents. In the operation, 8 suspects were caught and taken into custody.
It was learned that investigation procedures regarding the suspects are ongoing.
