He Commentated on Over 8,500 Football and Boxing Matches
Starting his career in 1957 as a sports journalist and writer in print media, Orhan Ayhan focused particularly on the world of boxing and has commentated on hundreds of boxing matches to date. Ayhan also broadcasted many football matches on the radio within TRT. Throughout his career, Orhan Ayhan has commentated on all matches of legendary boxers Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, and he became the only Turkish journalist to be present at the farewell match of world-famous footballer Pele.
