Suspect arrested in Van province.

Turkish security forces on Tuesday seized historical artifacts in an anti-smuggling operation in Turkey's eastern Van province, security sources said.

Acting on a tip-off, gendarmerie forces raided the residence of the suspect, who was looking for customers to sell the artifacts, according to the provincial governor's office.
Some 1,219 coins and 249 other objects were seized in the raid.
The suspect was arrested and later released under judicial control. -
