CHP 'CONGRESS' AND 'ABSOLUTE NULLITY' CRISIS
The lawsuit filed after allegations of irregularities regarding CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress had turned into a serious legal and political crisis within the party. Former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu stated that he would accept returning to the CHP leadership if the court issued an 'absolute nullity' decision, saying, "If I do not accept the position, there is a risk of a trustee." CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who responded harshly to Kılıçdaroğlu, said, "Accepting the position would be a historic mistake," which further escalated the tension within the party.
