New Party Chairman Özgür Özel announced his party's slogans with "7 Promises." Stating that these are their promises to Turkey, Özel said, "We have set out, we are on the road, and together with you, we will continue to walk tirelessly to establish the New Party's government."
The new party chairman, Özgür Özel, chaired the first Provincial Chairmen's Meeting held at the party headquarters. Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Özel stated that they would discuss Turkey's new politics here.
Özel said, "Let it be known that we kept this building in Ankara and established it in Ankara, but neither the title deed of this building, nor the title deed of this movement, nor the title deed of the New Party belongs to any of us. The owner of this party is the nation, and its title deed is registered in the name of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic." Özel noted that at this point, what they leave behind is not buildings, opportunities, or positions; rather, they leave behind the habit of losing, being in opposition, bickering with each other, and an understanding of holding a position without being a rival or threat to anyone.

Emphasizing that the New Party is the party of the nation, Özel said, "We set out, we are on the road, and together with you, we will continue to walk untiringly to establish the government of the New Party."
Speaking about the agenda of the meeting, Özel said, "In this meeting, of course, we will discuss our organization, we will discuss problems and solutions. But in this meeting, we will discuss mainly two things. One of them is, what do we promise to the nation to come to power? We will discuss that. Second, what duties fall on us and you to keep this promise? We will discuss that. Because a political party has two great responsibilities. First, to clearly state what kind of order it will establish for the nation; second, to clearly demonstrate the power, the cadre, and the will to establish that order. That is why there are '7 Words of the New' to be given to our nation in this meeting. There are 7 duties of the New Party to be given to you in this meeting."
"7 WORDS" FROM ÖZEL
Speaking about the 7 promises they made to Turkey, Özel continued his words as follows: "Our 1st of 7 promises to Turkey and the nation is a democratic Turkey. Turkey will not be divided over identities, lifestyles, political preferences, or old polarizations; it will not be governed over these tensions. Those who vote for a party and those who do not, those who vote for the government and those who do not, will all be seen as equal citizens of the Republic. Our 2nd promise is a just and free Turkey. Justice in court, justice in income, justice in taxes, justice in social life. Our understanding of justice will be built on these four pillars. Our 3rd promise is a producing and enriching Turkey. Turkey is not doomed to be a poor country. We come not to manage poverty, but to eliminate it. Our 4th promise to our nation is a strong and secure Turkey. We will keep you safe, we will make Turkey strong. Our 5th promise is a Turkey that leaves no one behind. Our 6th promise is a Turkey that offers a future to its children. Our 7th promise is a Turkey where positions are considered trusts. In our government, positions will not be owned property. They will be duty and watch. We will renew politics with term limits and open the way for new cadres and young people."
"WE ARE READY TO GOVERN TURKEY"
Özel stated that the 7 promises they made stand before the organizations as 7 duties, saying, "I see valuable comrades before me who are candidates to take on this duty, to explain this duty to the provinces and administrations they manage, to explain it to districts, and to raise the hopes of the nation while fulfilling this duty. Our first duty is to demonstrate our capacity to govern. Our first duty is to appear before the nation not only as a party that objects, but as a party ready to govern the state. We are ready to govern Turkey. We must show this to our nation with all our attitudes, behaviors, actions, and statements."
Özel also emphasized that their other duties are to open doors to the nation, prepare solutions in every province and be part of the solution, erase arrogance from politics, and have a sense of comradeship.
"THE 7TH AND INDISPENSABLE DUTY THE NEW PARTY EXPECTS FROM ITS ORGANIZATION IS TO WIN"
Özel used the following statements: "The most important duty; the seventh duty that the New Party expects from its organization and sees as indispensable, without discussion, is winning. We will win. We are the cadres who won the first elections they entered. We are the cadres who resisted those who did not accept this. We are the cadres who broke the conspiracies set up. We are the cadres who, against those who said 'Sit down, accept defeat; be content with losing, protect your position,' pushed away positions with the back of their hand, took to the roads, opened new paths, and marched towards power. That is why we never and never accept losing or being defeated. We did not establish this party just to have a party. We established this party to come to power. We did not establish an opposition party; we established the New Party as a ruling party. We did not establish a party to console each other on election nights; we established a party to win and serve our nation. We established the New Party to govern Turkey. That is why the most important and indispensable of all duties is winning. We will win, you will win, Turkey will win."
"WE WILL THINK NOT OF OURSELVES BUT OF OUR COUNTRY'S TOMORROWS"
Stating that the only condition for keeping their word is to fulfill their duties, Özel said, "We will do our duty, we will do it properly. We will think not of ourselves but of our party, not of ourselves but of our nation, not of ourselves but of our country's tomorrows. We did not come to power to demolish anyone's home. We come to repair Turkey's broken order. The only thing we will demolish is the dark order established by the AK Party."
Inviting citizens to become members of the party, Özel said, "Join us in this march, be with us. Come, choose the cadres, make history. Come, walk with us, let Turkey walk with you, and let Turkey's face smile."
