While the countdown continues for the salary increases to be applied to civil servants and retirees in July, new salary tables have been finalized ahead of the June inflation data to be announced by TÜİK. With the inflation rate of 16.60% confirmed for the first five months of the year, raises for SSK, Bağ-Kur, and civil servant retirees were guaranteed; based on three different inflation scenarios of 18%, 20%, and 25% on the table, the exact salaries for police officers, teachers, doctors, and nurses have been calculated down to the penny.
As the countdown for salary increases in July continues, millions of civil servants, retired civil servants, SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees are focused on the June inflation data that the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) will announce on July 3. Following the inflation rate of 16.60 percent confirmed in the first 5 months of the year, three different scenarios stand out for the new salaries. 5-MONTH RAISE GUARANTEED
According to TurkStat data, inflation in the first 5 months of 2026 was 16.60 percent. With this figure:
- SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees have already guaranteed a raise of at least 16.60 percent.
- Civil servants and retired civil servants, with an inflation difference of 5.05 percent and a collective bargaining raise, have secured a total increase of 12.41 percent.
"AK PARTY" REGULATION FOR THE MINIMUM PENSION
According to information leaked from the corridors, an intensive effort is underway in Ankara to increase the minimum pension, currently applied at 20,000 TL. It is reported that AK Party is preparing a bill to raise the base pension to approximately 23,500 TL.
3 DIFFERENT SCENARIOS ON THE TABLE FOR SALARIES
Scenario 1: If Inflation is 18% (Market Expectation)
According to the Central Bank's Market Participants Survey, if June inflation comes in at 1.36 percent, the 6-month inflation will be 18 percent.
- Civil servant and retired civil servant raise: 13.75%
- Minimum civil servant salary: ~70,400 TL
- Minimum retired civil servant pension: ~31,600 TL
- Minimum pension: ~23,600 TL
Scenario 2: If Inflation Rises to 25% (High Scenario)
If June inflation exceeds expectations, the total 6-month inflation is considered to possibly reach 25 percent.

- Minimum civil servant salary: ~74,600 TL
- Minimum retired civil servant pension: ~33,500 TL
- Minimum pension: ~25,000 TL
Scenario 3: If Inflation is 20% (Middle Path/Expert Prediction)
In the middle scenario emphasized by the economic administration and experts, the 6-month inflation is expected to be around 20 percent.
- Civil servant and retired civil servant raise: 15.68%
- Minimum civil servant salary: ~71,600 TL
- Minimum retired civil servant pension: ~32,100 TL
- Minimum pension: ~24,000 TL

- Branch Manager (Univ. Grad. 1/4): Branch managers with a current salary of 94,384 TL; they will receive 107,364 TL with a 13.75% raise, 109,189 TL with a 15.68% raise, and 113,716 TL with a 20.49% raise.
- Research Assistant (7/1): Research assistants with a current salary of 90,568 TL; they will receive 103,021 TL with a 13.75% raise, 104,757 TL with a 15.68% raise, and 109,120 TL with a 20.49% raise.
- Lawyer: Lawyers with a current salary of 90,000 TL; they will receive 102,375 TL with a 13.75% raise, 104,100 TL with a 15.68% raise, and 108,450 TL with a 20.49% raise.

All eyes have turned to the June inflation data that TurkStat will announce on July 3 at 10:00 AM for the finalization of all these calculations. With the announced data, the amount of welfare share to be added and the exact raise rates will become official.
