After the dispute between Ukrainian President Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump, many European countries expressed their support for Zelensky; however, a notable post came from Ukraine's Embassy in Ankara. A photo of President Erdoğan and Zelensky was shared from the embassy's account.
US President Donald Trump stated in the first statement from Russia regarding the fight that broke out between him and Ukrainian President Vlodomir Zelenskiy, "Ungrateful pig, he received a hard slap from his owners."
President Trump met with Zelenskiy at the White House for the first time since taking office, and the discussion between the two overshadowed the meeting.
THE TWO LEADERS CLASHED
During the meeting, Vice President JD Vance, who was present while Zelenskiy complained that the US administration, including previous presidents, had not stopped Russian President Vladimir Putin, reacted by saying, "Mr. President, I think it is disrespectful for you to come to the Oval Office to try to bring this issue up in front of the American media." Zelenskiy, who later had tense moments with Trump, left the White House.
NOTABLE SHARING FROM UKRAINE'S EMBASSY IN ANKARA
After the fight, support poured in for Zelenskiy from European countries; a notable post came from Ukraine's Embassy in Ankara. A photo of President Erdoğan and Zelenskiy was shared from the embassy's account.
