The Minister of Justice, Akın Gürlek, made his first provincial visit to his hometown of Nevşehir. Gürlek visited the AK Party Provincial Presidency here. During the visit, President Erdoğan addressed party members through Gürlek's phone, saying, "I express our pleasure in announcing such a brother from Nevşehir as a minister after more than 30 years. I wish it to be beneficial for Nevşehir and our country."
The newly appointed Minister of Justice, Akın Gürlek, made his first provincial visit to his hometown, Nevşehir. Minister Gürlek, who came to Nevşehir to participate in various programs, visited the AK Party Provincial Headquarters and met with Provincial Chairman Muhammed Feyzi Aygün and party members.
ERDOĞAN ADDRESSED PARTY MEMBERS FROM GÜRLEK'S PHONE During the visit, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed party members from Gürlek's phone, saying, "Dear members of our Nevşehir organization, I greet you with my heartfelt feelings on this meaningful day of the month of Ramadan. May your Ramadan be blessed, and may your future be bright. I express our pleasure in announcing such a brother from Nevşehir as a minister after more than 30 years. I wish it to be beneficial for Nevşehir and our country." he said.
President Erdoğan's speech received applause in the hall.
"A PERSON FINDS PEACE IN THEIR OWN HOME" Gürlek stated that he made his first visit to Nevşehir after becoming a minister, saying, "A person finds peace in their own home. This is my home as well. You welcomed me very warmly. You embraced me as if I were one of your own. First of all, I thank each and every one of you for the warm welcome and embrace. I came to Nevşehir not as the Minister of Justice but as your brother." he said.
Expressing that the position of Minister of Justice is temporary, Gürlek said, "What matters is the future of Nevşehir. We came to serve Nevşehir. Just now, our President was kind enough not to break us. I told him on the way that there are people waiting for the excitement of having a minister from these lands after 33 years. He said, 'Let me send my regards too.' Our President shared our excitement. He also has his greetings for you." he stated.
"WE ARE NOW GETTING RID OF THE PLAGUE OF TERROR" Pointing out that Turkey is going through an important process, Gürlek said that the country has entered a process free of terrorism.
Stating, "We are now getting rid of the plague of terror," Minister Gürlek noted:
"We need to be strong in the field. Our organizations need to touch the hearts of the people. The month of Ramadan is a month of abundance, a month of hearts, and we should show ourselves at the tables of the poor. We should sit with the underprivileged and listen to their troubles. I know the problems of Nevşehir. I will share the issues not only related to my own ministry but also with other ministries as much as I can, and we will find solutions. The biggest problem of Nevşehir is the ring road. I spoke with our Minister of Transport and Infrastructure about this yesterday. God willing, the tender will be announced by the end of this month. The tender will start shortly. God willing, the ring road issue will be resolved. There are also my fellow citizens from Acıgöl here. I promise from here that we will open our Acıgöl Courthouse."
The AK Party has been progressing for 23 years, building upon its achievements. The AK Party has opened a new path. Turkey is currently the power of the region. You see, we are surrounded by a ring of fire. What is happening in Iraq and Syria? Turkey has now become a model for game-changing. This shirt is now too tight for us. God willing, we will crown this process with a new constitution. I have special expectations from you, the organization. Nevşehir is my hometown. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly and embracing me. God willing, we want you to show the same warmth in the elections by visiting every home, every household, and every citizen one by one."
Emphasizing unity and solidarity, Gürlek said, "If we are one and united, if we walk the same path in brotherhood, there is nothing we cannot achieve as all of Turkey. From this point on, we will embrace the entire society with the law of unity, solidarity, and brotherhood, and we will move forward to a higher level, and we will see better days. I wish you all a blessed Ramadan once again." he concluded.
