The inheritance crisis ignited by İbrahim Tatlıses's words, "I won't leave a penny to Dilan or Ahmet," is escalating. Most recently, the famous folk singer's children, Dilan Çıtak and Ahmet Tatlıses, made striking claims regarding their father's inheritance decision and health status. Çıtak stated that she would not give up her inheritance, arguing that her father is being influenced by those around him; while Ahmet Tatlıses claimed that the artist is experiencing health issues and made his statements for that reason.
The ongoing inheritance tension between famous folk singer İbrahim Tatlıses and his children gained a new dimension with mutual statements. Following the artist's harsh remarks about his son Ahmet Tatlıses and daughter Dilan Çıtak, both individuals responded to their father.

The process began when İbrahim Tatlıses clarified his firm stance on the inheritance issue. The 74-year-old Tatlıses announced that he would disinherit his two children with the words, "If I leave a single coin to Dilan or Ahmet, may God bury me. I won't even leave a chair. They are not worthy." This statement brought the family dispute back into the spotlight.
ÇITAK: HE DOES NOT GIVE ME A CHANCE TO FORGIVE HIM
After the events, Dilan Çıtak spoke to SHOW TV and evaluated her father's decision. Çıtak, who said, "I am not against İbrahim Tatlıses, I am against his attitude towards me," conveyed her wishes for her father's health. Stating, "I have forgiven İbrahim Tatlıses, but he does not give me a chance to forgive him," Çıtak argued that she is not in a personal reckoning.
Çıtak, who also made evaluations regarding her career, opposed comments that link her fame solely to her surname. The 36-year-old Çıtak claimed that during the period of estrangement, some circles interfered with her work, asserting that this process stemmed not directly from her father but from the people around him. She shared an incident she experienced with the words, "While sitting at Polat Yağcı's table, I know that İbrahim Tatlıses's former life partner Derya Tuna called and said, 'You will not make the investment you did not make for İdo to that girl.'

Çıtak, who explained that she learned her father's identity at a young age, said, "I have never had a request to 'accept me.' I have always held back and have never been proud to be İbrahim Tatlıses's daughter." The singer stated that she experienced a sudden change in her life with the public announcement, saying, "While I had a very beautiful life, suddenly he made the statement 'Dilan is my daughter.' He called me to his side, photos were taken. It was said, 'We are adding you to our registry.'

Dilan Çıtak reiterated the health claims she had previously raised. "I think his medications are not being given. I witnessed that his medications were not given while I was with him. The people around him have nothing to do with İbrahim Tatlıses's health. The concern of the people around him is İbrahim Tatlıses's money," she criticized her father's surroundings. She clarified her stance on the inheritance issue with the words, "I will not give up on the inheritance."

Ahmet Tatlıses, the son whom İbrahim Tatlıses said, "I hate you," also responded to his father's statements. Son Tatlıses stated, "There cannot be hatred from a child to a father, nor from a father to a child. İbrahim Bey has health issues. These ailments make him say these things," suggesting that the events might be related to health problems.
Claiming that his meetings with his father were blocked by his surroundings, Ahmet Tatlıses asserted that the statements regarding his father's assets do not fully reflect the truth. "He tells many lies. Most of what he says about property and assets is not true. A few of his children are comfortable. The others, especially the daughters, do not live a comfortable life," he said.

Continuing his evaluations regarding his father's health, Ahmet Tatlıses stated, "It may be the beginning of dementia, forgetfulness is a sign of this." He also addressed the artist's intense concert schedule, saying, "They do not even let İbrahim Tatlıses go to the bathroom during concerts. They give him medication so he won't go to the bathroom. His assistant is already his legally wedded wife. She is pocketing that money. He is doing injustice to both his children and himself," expressing his criticisms towards his father's surroundings.
