President Erdoğan, at the event organized for World Farmers' Day, emphasized the issues of agricultural frost and drought, promising support to farmers. At the end of the event, he politely declined Agriculture Minister Yumaklı's offer to wear a Yörük scarf.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hosted Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, TZOB President Şemsi Bayraktar, and the accompanying delegation at the Presidential Complex on the occasion of World Farmers' Day. During the meeting, the program for the 4th Agriculture and Forestry Council's Final Declaration was also carried out.
HE GAVE A MESSAGE OF SUPPORT TO FARMERS
In his speech, Erdoğan stated that there could be a loss of yield in some products this year due to agricultural frost and drought, and he gave a message of support to farmers, saying, "We will overcome this ordeal with the least loss by providing all kinds of support."
HE DID NOT WEAR THE YÖRÜK HEADSCARF
At the end of the program, a noteworthy moment occurred. The suggestion from Minister of Agriculture Yumaklı to place the symbolic Yörük headscarf on Erdoğan was politely declined by the President.
