President Erdoğan's response to Trump's scandalous Gaza plan.

President Erdoğan made statements at the airport before his trip to Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan. Responding to U.S. President Trump, who said they would take over Gaza, Erdoğan stated, "From our perspective, there is nothing worth considering or discussing. These are completely absurd and efforts to beat around the bush. Palestine belongs to the Palestinians."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements at the airport before his visits to Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan. Erdoğan strongly reacted to U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to take over Gaza.

HARSH WORDS FROM ERDOĞAN TO TRUMP

President Erdoğan said: "After 471 days of genocide in Gaza, a temporary ceasefire was achieved on January 19 with our efforts. Despite Israel's tricks, prisoner exchanges continue. We are pleased to observe that Hamas has remained true to its word. Although the aid to Gaza, which has been under heavy blockade for 15 months, is not at the desired level, it has thankfully started to arrive.

"IT HAS NO CONSIDERABLE ASPECT"

However, we unfortunately see that the Israeli administration has more insidious and inhumane plans in mind instead of making the ceasefire permanent. I want to say this clearly: The proposals brought to the agenda by the new American administration regarding Gaza under the pressure of the Zionist lobby have no considerable or discussable aspect from our perspective. These are completely absurd distractions, efforts to beat water in a mortar.

"PALESTINE BELONGS TO THE PALESTINIANS"

No one has the power to remove Gazans from their eternal homeland, which has existed for thousands of years. Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem belong to the Palestinians. The people of Gaza, who have not abandoned their land despite all kinds of cruelty, barbarity, and attacks by Israel for 471 days, will continue to stay in Gaza, live in Gaza, and defend Gaza. No matter how it is packaged, any plan aimed at separating Gaza from Gazans will crash against the hard wall of truth and shatter into pieces. If peace, tranquility, and development are desired in the region, the way to achieve this is not by pouring more gasoline on the fire, but by giving the Palestinians their rights. Tomorrow, in our speech in Malaysia, we will hopefully share the main step that needs to be taken for the rapid reconstruction of Gaza.

"THE ACCOUNT OF THE BRUTAL MURDERS WILL BE ASKED ONE BY ONE"

As is known, the oppression and conflicts that have been ongoing in Syria for 13.5 years ended on December 8. We believe that under the prudent leadership of the President of Syria, Mr. Bashar, Syria will achieve stability in the shortest time possible. The account of the brutal murders committed by the Baath regime, especially the Tadamon, Hama, and Doğukuta massacres, is being asked one by one and will continue to be asked. As mass graves are discovered in different parts of the country, the bloody face of the Assad regime and its shabiha is being revealed.

Of course, I have a few words for the main opposition in our country. With their party leader and mayor, we see that some dare to question our sensitivity towards Palestine. How dare you question our stance and that of our government regarding the Palestinian cause? Weren't you the ones who labeled Hamas as a terrorist organization until yesterday and blamed the resistance fighters to appear favorable to the occupying forces? First, apologize for the slanders you made against the Palestinian resistance, and then you can speak.

A person should feel a bit of shame, embarrassment, and a sense of honor. The world knows very well what we have done for the Palestinian cause and our Gazan brothers, what kind of struggle we have given, and what we have sacrificed for this cause. Regardless of the circumstances, we will strive to do the best, the most beneficial, and the most correct for our Palestinian and Gazan brothers. Hopefully, we will continue on our path in the same line from now on. May God be our helper.

TRUMP'S SCANDALOUS GAZA PLAN

Trump's plan to "take over" Gaza and forcibly displace the Palestinians

Trump stated during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on February 4 that the U.S. would "take over" the Gaza Strip and "own" it.

Noting that Gaza is now completely a destruction zone, Trump argued that it would be much better for the Palestinians in Gaza to go to new settlements to be built in neighboring countries, especially Egypt and Jordan.

Trump also claimed that the Palestinians had no choice but to leave Gaza.

President Trump also stated that he wanted to turn Gaza into the "Riviera of the Middle East."
