President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered clear messages to the cabinet, parliament, and bureaucracy during his party's MKYK meeting. According to information obtained by Haberler.com Ankara representative Şerife Güzel, Erdoğan emphasized that he expects strong coordination from his aides, warning, "An executive branch that turns a deaf ear to politics has no chance of success. No one can act arbitrarily."
President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan made highly critical evaluations of the organizations, cabinet members, deputies, and bureaucracy during his party's Central Decision and Executive Board (CDEB) meeting. It was learned that Erdogan, who instructed all his aides to "Work in coordination with each other," drew clear lines in the meeting.
"NO ONE CAN ACT UNILATERALLY"
According to information received, President Erdogan emphasized the importance of teamwork and harmony in his speech at the opening of the CDEB meeting. Stressing that those in office should not act individually, Erdogan was reported to have used the following expressions:
"No one we have assigned in the cabinet, the party, the Parliament, or the bureaucracy can act unilaterally. There is no place in our understanding for the approach of 'every sheep hangs by its own leg.'"
"AN ADMINISTRATION THAT IGNORES POLITICS HAS NO CHANCE OF SUCCESS"
Drawing attention to the need for an unbreakable relationship between the political institution and executive authorities, Erdogan reminded of the responsibility of every level on the path to serving the nation. Stating that the exclusion of politicians would absolutely not be tolerated, Erdogan was learned to address his aides with the following words:
"Every colleague of ours is responsible first to the will that brought them there, and then to the nation. An administration that ignores politics has no chance of success. Politics that disregards the executive cannot serve the nation. We cannot have tolerance for the exclusion of the political institution, especially, or for those in executive positions to distance themselves from politicians."
"WE WILL ADDRESS COMPLAINTS AND DEFICIENCIES"
In the meeting, Erdogan once again reiterated that there must be strong coordination between party levels, the cabinet, and the bureaucracy, emphasizing that feedback from the field is closely monitored. President Erdogan was stated to have concluded his remarks by saying, "I expect strong coordination among our board, cabinet, and bureaucracy at every level, from our colleagues with whom we walk the path together. I want it to be known that we will address the complaints conveyed to us and the deficiencies we have identified."
