The attacks by the USA and Israel against Iran were protested with marches and press statements held in Istanbul.
SLOGANS AGAINST THE USA AND ISRAEL WERE CHANTED
Members of the Global Resistance Platform gathered in Levent and marched to the front of the Israeli Consulate in Istanbul.
Participants chanted various slogans against the USA and Israel throughout the march. Journalist Nurettin Şirin, speaking on behalf of the group, stated that they would remain in resistance and solidarity until the Palestinian territories, Jerusalem, and Al-Aqsa Mosque are completely liberated.
Şirin noted that the Islamic community is united as one heart and one wrist, expressing that the community should always act together regardless of sect, ethnicity, or nationality differences.
Şirin said, "We will follow the path of the martyrs and will not give up resistance until we reach the goals they have shown." After chanting slogans for a while, the platform members dispersed.
STATEMENT IN ÜSKÜDAR SQUARE
Members of the Vatan Party Istanbul Provincial Presidency also organized a march in Üsküdar to protest the attacks.
Gathering in Ahmediye Square, party members marched to Üsküdar Square with Turkish and Iranian flags in their hands. Participants chanted various slogans during the march and gathered in the square.
Ibrahim Okan Özkan, the Istanbul Provincial Chairman of the Vatan Party, read the message of the General Chairman Doğu Perinçek.
After the message, Özkan stated that they respectfully commemorated Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who lost his life in the attacks.
Özkan argued that the USA and Israel have economic, military, social, and cultural deadlocks, asserting that the civilization of America and the aggression of Israeli Zionism are doomed to be destroyed and take their place in the dustbin of history.
Özkan stated that freedom, democracy, human rights, and peace will not come from US imperialism.
