WHAT IS TEMU?
Known for its low-priced products worldwide, Temu sells a wide range of products from clothing to electronics, and from accessories to smartphones. The platform operates under the Chinese e-commerce giant PDD Holdings.
AFTER EUROPE, TURKEY
The inspection in Turkey drew attention as it followed investigations into Temu's operations in Europe. It is known that the company's European headquarters in Dublin was also recently inspected by European Union regulators. These investigations were said to be conducted due to suspicions of possible unfair subsidies supported by the Chinese government.
