CHP Chairman Özgür Özel reacted to former Hatay Metropolitan Mayor Lütfü Savaş, who filed a lawsuit regarding the 38th Ordinary Congress of the Republican People's Party (CHP) held on November 4-5, 2023, at the Ankara Sports Hall.

Speaking after his visit to Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu, Özgür Özel stated, "The lawsuit that Lütfü Savaş is trying to file is doomed to be rejected on procedural grounds."
Özel, who said, "Despite all the anger directed at him, Lütfü Bey probably couldn't find the time to object to the Congress during the process in which we nominated him, and he tried to do this a year and a half later," added, "This is part of the Justice and Development Party's strategy to occupy the opposition. Those who are part of this strategy should evaluate which whole they are a part of themselves."

CONGRESS INVESTIGATION IN CHP
