53RD HEARING OF THE İBB CASE
The 53rd hearing of the first session of the case known as "Ekrem İmamoğlu Criminal Organization for Profit" continued to be held by the Istanbul 40th Heavy Penal Court in the courthouse located at the Marmara Penal Execution Institutions Campus.
The public prosecutor, presenting their opinion, stated that considering the nature and character of the alleged crime, the current evidence situation, and the scope of the case file, they requested the release at this stage of defendants businessman Yunus Göçer, director and producer Hasan Yalaz, Kültür A.Ş. Information Technologies Manager Erdinç Çolak, former İBB Media A.Ş. General Manager İpek Elif Atayman, and advertiser Alper Aydın, while demanding the continued detention of the other defendants. The hearing was adjourned for the court to make its assessment.
Subsequently, the court announced its decision. In addition to the 5 names requested by the prosecutor, the court ordered the release of 4 more individuals.
