The ministry referred to the previously announced calendar, stating that the academic year will end on June 20, 2025.
The Ministry of National Education made a statement regarding the news titled "MEB has started preparations, the summer vacation will be brought forward," which appeared today in some press and media outlets.
It was stated that the claims made, "The Ministry of National Education is preparing to bring the summer vacation forward this year due to the Kurban Bayramı," do not reflect the truth. The Ministry of National Education emphasized that the "2024-2025 Academic Year Calendar" was shared with the public on May 28, 2024, and that the educational processes continue in accordance with the announced calendar. According to the mentioned calendar, the academic year, which starts on September 9, 2024, will end on June 20, 2025, as previously announced.
