Retired Colonel McGregor from the US: We are preparing PKK/YPG to attack Turkey.

US military analyst McGregor's confession about Turkey drew attention in his evaluations on the escalating tension in the Middle East following the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. McGregor said, "A war involving Turkey and Israel is imminent. Erdogan is trying to keep Turkey away from the war. We are preparing our forces in Syria for them to attack Turkey. We encourage and arm the PKK, YPG, and some other organizations that act together with them to attack Turkey. But this time it's very serious."

Military analyst McGregor, stating that President Erdogan makes very harsh statements against Israel but tries to keep Turkey away from war, said that the US is preparing the terrorist organization PKK/YPG in Syria to attack Turkey.

MacGregor admitted that the US previously supported the PKK to attack Turkey, but now claimed that Israel is preparing to attack Turkey using the PKK through Syria. McGregor said the following:

"We are currently preparing our forces in Syria to attack Turkey. Who am I referring to? We encourage and arm the PKK, YPG, and some other organizations that act together with them to attack Turkey.

The Turks are aware of this and are very uncomfortable with it. We have done this regularly in the past as well. But this time it's very serious. The Russians have also established a new base in northern Syria. They don't want us to be in a position to take direct action against them.
