Ayder Plateau is hosting the 'Ayder Forum', which is being held for the second time this year. The organization, which will end on January 17, focuses on global energy policies, artificial intelligence technologies, and sustainable energy strategies.

At the forum, Rize Mayor Rahmi Metin answered questions from Melis Yaşar of Haberler.com. Metin stated that although forums are held in a city, they represent the entire country, saying, "It concerns the issues of the world. Discussing the world's problems in Rize excites us."
"THOSE WHO MASTER ENERGY WILL MASTER THE UNIVERSE"
Emphasizing that energy has been important since the existence of humanity and will continue to be important for the future of the world, Metin stated that the universe is a product of matter, energy, and intellect. The Mayor of Rize said, "Energy is an infinite power. Today we are discussing existing renewable energy, tomorrow we will discuss the storage of solar energy. Together with artificial intelligence, we will process our information faster. We will go to different places. Those who master energy will master the universe," he said.
"WE ARE TRYING TO CREATE A LIVABLE RIZE"
Metin also stated, "Rize is the capital of citrus fruits. We are in the region that receives the most rainfall in Turkey. Water means life." He added, "There is an incredible variety of endemic plant species. There are over 150 endemic plants in Rize. It is a region that should be observed. As a municipality, we are creating living complexes throughout the city along with urban transformation. We are connecting people to the sea with green spaces and walking paths. We are trying to create a livable city with more spacious homes. We are trying to prepare our Rize for the future by balancing the environment with technology," he expressed.
