SHARED HER STRUGGLE WITH BULLYING

According to The Times of India, Daddoa had previously shared in her content that she was bullied during her school years. In one of her videos, she mentioned that the emotional scars she experienced led her to see makeup as a "shield," which in turn boosted her self-confidence.

Rising to fame on social media in 2014 with fashion, makeup, and diet content, Daddoa quickly reached over 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube. Her global popularity led her to a special contract with China's major video platform Youku.

EXPORTED COSMETIC PRODUCTS

In January 2016, China's largest social media platform Weibo named Daddoa "Best Beauty Content Creator of 2015." During the same period, she opened a store called "K-Beauty Select Store" on Taobao, becoming the first Korean influencer to lead the direct export of Korean cosmetic products.

By the end of 2016, before taking a break from social media, her combined channel subscriber count in Korea, China, and Southeast Asia reached 2.7 million. Even during her inactive period, her follower count continued to grow, and in 2017, her Korean YouTube channel surpassed the 1 million subscriber mark.

Daddoa was also named Social Beauty Media Star by Women's Wear Daily and Global Beauty Hero by the global cosmetic brand MAC.

After 2016, Daddoa lived largely out of the public eye, having published her last video four years ago. According to Daily Mail, she planned to return to her education, which was interrupted due to her intense influencer life, by starting university in Seoul.
