After the death of his wife and the urban transformation of his home, Zihni Göktay had moved to a nursing home in Maltepe.
HE FELL ON THE TOUR ROAD AND BROKE HIS HIP BONE
It was reported that Göktay fell at the facility where they took a break while going to Ankara for the musical show titled "Once Upon a Time with Zihni Göktay and Cihat Tamer," organized by Deha Yapım. Allegedly, instead of being taken to the hospital, the master actor was directed to the cultural center where the play was to be staged.
ALLEGATION OF "GREAT NEGLIGENCE"
According to Cumhuriyet's news; Göktay staged the play without getting up from his chair. Later, it was determined that the master actor had broken his hip bone after being taken to the hospital. It was learned that Göktay, who underwent surgery at Maltepe University Hospital, is in good health. It was reported that his close circle considered his being taken to the stage without being taken to the hospital as "negligence."
