In a statement made on social media by the Ministry of Defense, it was stated, "6 UAVs were prevented and destroyed in the eastern region."
No information was provided regarding the origin of the destroyed UAVs or whether there was any damage or casualties resulting from the attempted attacks.
Since February 28, Iran has been conducting missile and UAV attacks on U.S. bases and critical points in 7 Arab countries in retaliation for U.S. and Israeli attacks.
U.S.-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the U.S. launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations.
In response, Iran targeted certain regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where U.S. bases are located, with attacks.
