In a press conference held at the Istanbul Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) Center, Governor Davut Gül stated: "According to the latest data we have received over the past 2 days, the precipitation that continues today in the form of mixed rain and snow has been effective on the Asian side. It is predicted that the snowfall expected on Sunday will be effective on the European side. To prevent our students from facing difficulties, all educational institutions, including public and private schools, as well as courses at public education centers, will suspend face-to-face education activities for 1 day. Female personnel working in public institutions who are veterans, pregnant, or have children under the age of 8 will be considered on administrative leave," he said.
