Air defense is layered. ASELSAN has developed each of these layers. However, a comprehensive air defense system that covers our entire country has not yet been developed. Choosing to be deterrent and opting for defense is a more challenging path. The essence is to be deterrent. There is no air defense system in the world that can intercept all missiles. Each has its limits. You can develop the attack capacity and convert all of them into a defense system. We need to be better prepared in terms of attack systems.
By 2030, we will have achieved full capacity. It is possible to resist with systems like the 5th generation Kızılelma. Additionally, it is possible to attack with systems like kamikaze drones. The capacity of the munitions and radars you add is very important.
KIZILELMA
Kızılelma is in low-capacity production. Kızılelma has been essentially rebuilt. Its entire internal structure has changed. We have developed its final prototype. Our goal is to have it included in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces by 2026. It is creating a new page as a completely different generation. It is a more cost-effective system compared to manned aircraft. We will be able to engage in combat without risking the pilot.
BAYRAKTAR TB3
Bayraktar TB3 has been added to the inventory of the Land and Naval Forces. Recently, the one that takes off from the ground has been delivered to the inventory. It has a much more advanced engine compared to TB2. It flies with the engine we made ourselves. One of the significant differences is that it can carry more munitions. It has the capability to take off and land on short runway ships, and its flight duration is longer.
