The spokesperson of the AK Party, Ömer Çelik, reacted to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's remarks directed at President Erdoğan, stating, "Jerusalem is our city. Mr. Erdoğan, this is not your city." Çelik said, "Netanyahu's words are null and void. Netanyahu's delusions, which regard Jerusalem, a common value of humanity, as his own property, express hostility towards all of humanity's values."
After Israel launched intense ground attacks on Gaza early this morning, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu targeted President Erdoğan and Turkey in a speech he made at an event in Jerusalem with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
"JERUSALEM IS OUR CITY"
Netanyahu stated, "We are here. Jerusalem is our city. Mr. Erdoğan, this is not your city. This is our city. It will always be our city. It will never be divided again."
RESPONSE FROM THE AK PARTY TO NETANYAHU
While Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's remarks towards President Erdoğan drew significant backlash, AK Party spokesperson Ömer Çelik made a statement regarding the issue.
"THESE WORDS ARE NULL AND VOID"
In a post on X, Çelik said, "The words of Netanyahu, the head of the genocide gang, targeting our esteemed President are null and void."
Netanyahu's delusions, believing that Jerusalem, a common value of humanity, is his property, express enmity towards all human values. These words constitute a new crime of genocidal fanaticism against humanity and its values... Humanity is under the threat of this gang. The response given to them should be the response of the alliance of humanity," he stated.
