Addressing the public through her social media account, Görgüzel expressed her strong reaction to her name being associated with serious accusations and announced that she would initiate legal proceedings.

In her statement, Görgüzel noted that the news reported in the media recently does not reflect the truth and has been intentionally distorted. The famous figure, who stated that she could not remain silent despite the statements made by her lawyer and press consultant, emphasized that the news about her is damaging to her dignity.

In her statement, Görgüzel also touched upon the process of her detention, saying that the only reason for her being called for questioning in the investigation was her use of a transportation service provided for the guests of the hotel she was staying at. Reminding that she shared this journey on social media, Görgüzel expressed that the incident was reflected in a different and incorrect manner.

As part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau, 6 suspects who were detained were transferred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan after health checks.
The prosecutor's office had requested the arrest of Ayşe Tarım, Ayşe Sağlam, Burak Fahri Yön, and Ceren Alper.
