The Dominik Livakovic era at Fenerbahce has come to an end. The yellow-navy club announced that an agreement has been reached with Barcelona regarding the permanent transfer of the 31-year-old Croatian goalkeeper.
Dominik Livakovic has officially parted ways with Fenerbahce. The Croatian goalkeeper, who joined the yellow-navy team from Dinamo Zagreb in 2023, will continue his career at Barcelona. Barcelona announced the addition of the 31-year-old goalkeeper, while Fenerbahce also officially confirmed the transfer.

The statement from the yellow-navy club read as follows:
"Our club has reached an agreement with Barcelona for the permanent transfer of our professional footballer Dominik Livakovic, who joined our squad in 2023. We thank Dominik Livakovic for his efforts under our striped jersey and wish him success in the new chapter of his career. Best of luck, Livakovic."
HE GUARDED FENERBAHCE'S GOAL 74 TIMES
Livakovic began his professional career at NK Zagreb and transferred to Dinamo Zagreb in 2015. The experienced goalkeeper protected the goal in 292 matches for the Croatian team and joined Fenerbahce in 2023. Livakovic played in a total of 74 matches over two seasons with the yellow-navy jersey.
RETURNED TO SPAIN
The Croatian goalkeeper spent the first half of the 2025-26 season on loan at LaLiga side Girona. In the second half of the season, he was loaned to his former team Dinamo Zagreb. The 31-year-old goalkeeper, who permanently parted ways with Fenerbahce, returned to Spain by transferring to Barcelona.
