Between 1998 and 2001, "Ruhsar," which is considered one of the cultural productions of Turkish television, brought together Hande Ataizi and Cem Davran in the lead roles. The fantasy-comedy series portrayed the story of a woman who continues to communicate with her husband after his untimely death.

Years later, an attention-grabbing statement came from actress Hande Ataizi about the series "Ruhsar," which made a mark on Kanal D in the 90s. Ataizi mentioned that Sezen Aksu was initially considered for the lead role, but she intervened in the process and directed the role to herself. Participating in Kafa TV's program called 'Phenomenon,' Hande Ataizi revealed an unknown fact about the series for the first time despite the years that have passed. She stated that Sezen Aksu was initially thought of for the lead role and noted that this plan changed due to her intervention.
SHE CONFESSED
"Sezen Aksu was being considered for Ruhsar. I have manipulated the situation by saying, 'Sezen would be great, but how long can you continue with her? She might want to leave after a year,'" said Ataizi, shedding light on the behind-the-scenes process of the series with these words. The famous actress emphasized that the Ruhsar series was a significant turning point in her career, stating that she received ample rewards for the effort she put in to get the role. Ataizi said, "At that time, I trusted my instincts. I thought this role should belong to me, and it turned out to be so."
