In her post, Derici recalled the day she was proposed to in Sydney on May 13, 2025. Mentioning their two-year relationship, the singer stated that they would overcome many difficulties together.

İsmail Melih Kunukçu was arrested along with 311 people as part of the illegal gambling investigation conducted by the Gaziantep Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Kunukçu's lawyer, Abide Gülel Saral, stated that the only accusation against her client was “gambling.” Saral noted that there were no charges against Kunukçu for operating gambling, running an organization, or providing IBAN.
İrem Derici, who remained silent after the arrest warrant, drew attention by saying “I am with you forever” in her post on her fiancé's birthday.
