The incident occurred around 10:30 AM at a single-story detached house on 1142nd Street in the Bahçelievler neighborhood. Narin N. and her 3 grandchildren were watching cartoons in the living room when a group of 4-5 people, including women, broke the door and entered the garden, firing a gun and throwing stones.
SHE HID IN THE BATHROOM WITH HER GRANDCHILDREN
Narin N. took her grandchildren and hid in the bathroom. The attackers fled the scene. Upon notification, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. During their investigation, the police could not find any empty cartridges in the garden but determined that one of the bullets hit the television.
"THEY FIRED INSIDE THROUGH THE WINDOW"
Describing her experience, Narin N. said, "I was sitting at home with my 3 grandchildren. They came in a large group. At first, they broke my outer garden door. They fired 3 or 4 shots through the window with a gun. 3 women also collected the empty cartridges that came from the guns. I threw my grandchildren into the bathroom in a panic. My grandchildren are orphans. My television, which I just bought for 70 thousand lira, was broken and exploded," she said.
