Famous singer Gülçin Ergül, known for her association with the group Hepsi, made striking statements about her experiences within the group and during her departure. Ergül mentioned that she was misunderstood during the process of leaving the group, and that this situation put a strain on her career.
'Hepsi' group became famous, but a few years later, Gülçin Ergül left the group to continue her solo career and couldn't hold back her tears while sharing her experiences with Gökhan Çınar.
Gülçin Ergül, who made a big breakthrough with the Hepsi group in 2004 and left the group in 2009, was a guest on the Katarsis program available on YouTube.
"IF THERE IS NO PEACE, SOMEONE WILL LEAVE"
In the program, Ergül made striking statements about the group. While sharing her experiences, Gülçin Ergül couldn't hold back her tears, saying, "Cemre wanted to be part of this group. Cemre's mother was also the manager. Over the years, the members changed, some came and some left. What troubled me the most was being misunderstood. I was very misunderstood when I left the group. That was the challenging point in my career. I didn't explain myself for a long time during that period. Both because there was a lawsuit and because I didn't want to speak negatively about my friends. There were very harsh statements during that time. Sometimes, the things said behind my back are not forgotten. It is perceived as if I broke the group. If there is no peace in a group, then someone will leave. If that person is me, I shouldn't be blamed. Sometimes, the one who speaks the truth may be right, even if they are in the minority.
"NOBODY KNOWS THIS"
We had a meeting back in 2014, but nobody knows this. In this meeting, we couldn't agree and actually fought. From here, I know that we cannot come together. When I don't want something, things are said behind my back through the media that make me look selfish. Aggressively and in a way that I don't deserve," she said.
"I WAS DECLARED THE SCAPEGOAT"
Ergül concluded her words by saying, "When people watch events from the outside, they always try to find the simplest reason. But the realities are much more complex. I don't want to hurt anyone, but the things said in the past were very hurtful for me as well. For years, I was declared a scapegoat and had to bear the weight of this situation. I want people to get to know me better now."
