An event that could almost be seen in movies took place in Istanbul. A one-and-a-half-year-old baby was left in a car in Çekmeköy. The mother, unable to open the locked doors of the vehicle, realized that she had forgotten the keys to both the car and the apartment at home, prompting the intervention of the fire department. After about half an hour of work, the team entered the apartment with a ladder truck and retrieved the keys, successfully rescuing the baby.
An event reminiscent of something out of a movie took place in the Çekmeköy district of Istanbul.
LEFT BABY IN CAR, FORGOT CAR AND APARTMENT KEYS AT HOME
In Aydınlar Neighborhood, a mother forgot her one-and-a-half-year-old baby in the car. It was learned that the car doors were locked and that the mother had forgotten both the car key and the apartment key at home. Upon notification, health and fire teams were dispatched to the scene.
FIRE TEAMS INTERVENED
The teams entered the building with a ladder vehicle to reach the keys and retrieved the keys from the apartment. Meanwhile, the family entertained the baby in the car with cartoons through the window to prevent panic. After approximately half an hour of work, the keys were brought down, and the car was opened, safely rescuing the baby.
NEIGHBORS WATCHED EXCITEDLY
Health teams determined that the baby's condition was good after checks. The neighborhood residents, who watched the rescue moments with excitement, supported the teams with applause as the baby was safely brought out.
