A person passed away in a hotel room in Rize while preparing for his daughter's wedding. The incident occurred at a hotel on Atatürk Street in the Çarşı neighborhood of central Rize. It was learned that Servet Tüfekçi (60), who arrived in Rize the day before, checked into the hotel. Tüfekçi, who did not leave his room all day yesterday, was heard by hotel staff due to a loud sound of water coming from his room. After knocking on the door and receiving no response, the hotel staff immediately reported the situation to the hotel management and then to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Police and ambulance teams were dispatched to the hotel. The teams that entered the room found Tüfekçi lying motionless on the bathroom floor. It was learned that Tüfekçi had passed away during the initial intervention.
THE CAUSE OF DEATH WILL BE DETERMINED BY AUTOPSY
It was learned that Servet Tüfekçi, who was registered in the population of Derepazarı district of Rize, came to his hometown for the preparations of his daughter's wedding, which will take place soon, and therefore stayed at the hotel. The exact cause of Tüfekçi's death will be determined by the autopsy.
