A woman who stabbed her husband in the throat during an argument in Bilecik was taken into custody, while her seriously injured husband was taken into surgery.
The incident occurred last night on Çınar 1 Street in the Kayı Boyu neighborhood of Bilecik. According to reports, a dispute arose between Reşit A., who was experiencing severe marital discord, and his wife Hülya A. During the altercation, the woman, who went into a fit of rage, stabbed her husband in the neck with a knife she grabbed.

Upon hearing the screams, neighbors alerted the authorities, and a large number of police were dispatched to the scene. The seriously injured husband was taken to Bilecik Training and Research Hospital after the first intervention by 112 Emergency Service teams. Reşit A., who suffered a 10-centimeter cut on his neck, was taken into surgery, while Hülya A. was also taken into custody.
The police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
