GAVI REMOVED FROM THE SQUAD
Spain National Team's midfielder Gavi has been removed from the squad due to injury ahead of the FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers matches against Bulgaria and Turkey. In a statement from the Spanish Football Federation, it was noted that the 21-year-old player was removed from the squad due to an injury to his right knee.
OUT OF ACTION FOR 11 MONTHS
Barcelona Club also announced that Gavi will not play in the league match against Rayo Vallecano tomorrow.
The star player had previously injured his right anterior cruciate ligament in November 2023 and was out of action for 11 months. Gavi had come on as a substitute in the league matches against Mallorca and Levante this season.

The Spain National Team will face Bulgaria on September 4 and Turkey away on September 7 in Group E of the 2026 FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers.
