The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has initiated a disciplinary process against 297 coaches identified as having placed bets. In this process, which has identified coaches working outside the Super League, the name of the A National Team's head coach Vincenzo Montella's assistant, Serkan Damla, is also mentioned. If evidence of Damla's betting is confirmed, the penalty to be imposed by the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) will become clear. It is stated that Damla could face a ban of at least 45 days and at most 12 months.

As a result of the investigation conducted by the Turkish Football Federation against coaches working outside the Super League, it was decided to refer 297 coaches identified as having placed bets to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board.
