The National Milk Council has set the recommended price for raw milk at a net of 17.15 lira per liter, effective January 1, 2025. This results in a 17% increase in the recommended price for raw milk.
The price of milk has increased. According to the announcement on the website of the National Milk Council (USK), the recommended price for raw milk has been updated to take effect from January 1, 2025.
17 PERCENT INCREASE
Accordingly, the recommended selling price for raw cow's milk with 3.6% fat and 3.2% protein content has been set so that the producer receives a net of 17.15 lira per liter. If cooling, transportation, and other current expenses are covered by the producer, these expenses will be additionally paid to the producer. A difference of 25 kuruş will be applied for each 0.1 change in the referenced fat and protein ratios.
WILL BE UPDATED EVERY THREE MONTHS
Furthermore, according to a previously made decision, the recommended price for raw milk will be reassessed every three months.
