Four people wearing silicone masks in Adana forcibly entered a house and opened fire randomly while introducing themselves as police. One person in the house escaped the attack by jumping out of the window, while their mother and sibling were seriously injured by the bullets. F.C., who requested the capture of the suspects, said, "In our home, innocent people were shot; you don't shoot at women and children; even enmity has its etiquette."
In the Seyhan district of Adana, four masked individuals forcibly entered a house and opened fire, shouting 'police'. The mother and her son were seriously injured by the bullets, while the other son escaped by jumping out of the window. The condition of the injured is critical.
THEY OPENED FIRE IN THE HOUSE THEY ENTERED BY SAYING "POLICE"
The incident occurred around 03:30 in the Barbaros neighborhood of Seyhan district. Four attackers, wearing silicone masks, arrived at the single-story house where the Coşkun family lived, broke down the door, and allegedly shouted, "Police, lie down on the ground." Then, the attackers randomly opened fire on the mother and her two sons inside the house with their guns. The bullets hit mother Münire Coşkun (45) and her son Yusuf Coşkun (26), while the elder son F.C. escaped unharmed by jumping out of the window.
THE CONDITION OF THE MOTHER AND SON IS SERIOUS
After the incident in which the mother and son were seriously injured, the attackers fled the scene. Following F.C.'s alert, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Münire and Yusuf Coşkun, who received first aid, were taken to Adana City Training and Research Hospital. It was reported that the injured individuals, who underwent surgery, are still in critical condition.
HE COVERED HIS SON TO AVOID GETTING HIT BY BULLETS
F.C., who miraculously escaped injury and recounted the events, said, "While I was sitting inside with my mother, they entered shouting, 'Police, lie down.' They started shooting at us. I thought they were police; they were wearing orange vests. They shot at me, and a bullet grazed my head. I shouted to my mother to jump out of the window. At that moment, my mother covered my brother to protect him from getting hit by bullets. While they continued to shoot, I jumped out of the window. My mother was shot three times, and they fired five bullets at my brother while he was lying down. I ran away and called the 112 Emergency Call Center, and they also fled," he said.
"INNOCENT PEOPLE WERE SHOT IN THE HOUSE"
F.C., stating that his mother and brother are in critical condition, expressed his desire for the criminals to be found, saying, "My mother was shot in the stomach and abdomen. My brother was hit by five bullets in the leg, and his knees were shattered. They underwent surgery, and they just came out; their condition is still critical. Everything has a consequence; we want them to be caught. We were scared because there were small children in the house; if my mother hadn't hugged my 9-year-old brother, they would have shot him too. Innocent people were shot; bullets should not be fired at women and children; they violated the home. Even enmity has its etiquette. We have no safety," he said.
Meanwhile, the police teams continue their efforts to capture the masked attackers.
