The Ministry of Interior announced that as of April 1, penalties will be imposed on those using APP plates, and there will be no postponement regarding this matter.
The Ministry of Interior made a statement regarding the claims that the deadline for fines issued for APP plates would be extended until April 1.
NO EXTENSION FOR APP PLATES
In a written statement from the ministry, it was stated, "As of April 1, penalties will be definitively applied to those using fake plates (printed outside the Turkish Drivers and Automobile Federation (TŞOF) and not meeting security standards), and an administrative fine of 140,000 TL will be imposed. There will be no extension regarding this matter. Even if they are incorrectly printed, no penalties will be applied to plates issued by TŞOF, and the replacement of these plates will be ensured within the specified process."
REGULATIONS FOR MULTIMEDIA SCREENS WILL BE PUBLISHED
It was emphasized that the technical standards for multimedia screens and speaker/sound systems used in vehicles will be clarified with the regulations to be published in the upcoming period.
