6 RISKY BUILDINGS EVACUATED
The incident occurred around 7:00 PM in Ayazağa Neighborhood, 108th Street. Allegedly, after the effective rainfall, a landslide occurred in the garden of a building on the street. Soil fell onto the houses located about 20 meters below. Upon the notification of the surrounding residents, police, AFAD, and municipal teams arrived at the scene. The teams conducting an examination at the site made a decision to evacuate the 6 buildings they identified as risky.
RESIDENTS OF THE BUILDINGS REACTED TO THE EVACUATION
After the teams made the evacuation decision regarding the 6 buildings, the residents reacted to the situation. The homeowners, stating that they had no place to go, claimed that they had reported the issue to the municipality and that no solution had been found.
