The wife of former Chairman of the Idealist Hearths Education and Culture Foundation and Hacettepe University Lecturer Assoc. Dr. Sinan Ateş, who was killed in Ankara, said, "This trap that has been set up will befall them. They will meet the state, and everyone will meet the fair face of the state. No one should think that their crime will go unpunished."

The third session of the trial, which is being held in the hall at the Sincan Penal Institutions Campus by the 32nd Heavy Penal Court of Ankara, continues with lawyer statements. Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and some members of parliament are also attending the trial.

KILIÇDAROĞLU AND AYŞE ATEŞ FACED THE CAMERAS

After the lunch break in the trial, Ayşe Ateş and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made a statement to the press together. Ateş, stating that the trial finally started after one and a half years and a great trap theater was staged, pointed out that a political murder was attempted to be turned into an ordinary murder case with memorized statements.

Ateş, stating that an impression is being created as if the defendants were coincidentally brought to a certain point, said: "They have set up a stage. They do not want it to be revealed what is behind that stage. They do not want the political foot of this political murder to be revealed. No matter what they do, no matter how hard they try, no matter how many traps they set up, every game they play, every baseness will befall them. Everyone should know this."

When reminded that the defendant Doğukan Çep shouted, "Where is Mr. Kemal?" during the trial, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said: "They cannot stomach it because I am seeking justice and keeping this case on the agenda of the public. They thought, 'Since this is a political case, we will commit the murder, we have our superiors behind us, they will cover up this incident.' This was their thought, their belief. But they saw that they have, yes, as they also mentioned, Mr. Kemal against them. There is a person who defends justice. If we do not defend justice, we will destroy the world. Therefore, Sinan Ateş was an intellectual, an academician raised by this country. He will not be shot, murdered in the middle of the street, and we will close our eyes, we will not see. Even if their feriştah comes, we will follow this case."
