In the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found in the Eğertutmaz Stream 19 days after she went missing on August 21 in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar, Diyarbakır, the investigation continues. NUMBER OF DETAINED RISES TO 12The number of suspects sent to prison increased to 12 with the arrest of Fuat Güran's wife Hediye Güran in connection with the murder of Narin Güran. Narin's brother Enes, mother Yüksel, and uncles were also arrested. According to the initial findings of the Forensic Medicine Institute, it was determined that Narin Güran was killed by suffocation. DECOMPOSITION AND LIQUEFACTION OBSERVED ON THE BODYAccording to the Histopathology report prepared by the Pathology unit of Diyarbakır Forensic Medicine Institute, it was stated that decomposition and liquefaction occurred in many parts of Narin's body. The report also mentions the presence of clustered erythrocyte-like areas (bleeding) in the examined neck anterior muscle groups and heavy otolithic muscle segments with indistinguishable cytoplasmic boundaries. THE PERPETRATOR OF THE MURDER REMAINS UNCLEARWhile the examination of the 91 samples taken from Narin's lifeless body is ongoing, it is still unclear who or why the murder was committed. However, new allegations are being added to the ones already put forward. The fact that Enes Güran, the detained brother, came from Malatya to Diyarbakır one day before Narin was killed raises the question of whether Enes was called for the murder. ATTENTION WAS DRAWN TO THE BITE MARKS ON THE ARM AND BACKIn his statement, detained brother Enes Güran said, "I took leave from work because my brother Baran was going to the military and my cousin had a wedding." Güran claimed that he had no involvement in his brother's death and also stated that he was asleep during the hours when Narin went missing. On the other hand, the bite marks on Enes' arm and the nail marks on his back brought up allegations that Enes killed his sister by suffocating her.
