Samsunspor announced that Anthony Musaba, who is reported to have reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe, did not participate in training without permission and refused to be included in the match squad. The club stated that Musaba violated FIFA regulations and initiated a disciplinary process.
It has been claimed that Anthony Musaba, who is said to have reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe, has received a striking statement from Samsunspor. The Black Sea team announced that the Dutch footballer has violated FIFA regulations and that a disciplinary process has been initiated.
THE CLUB HAS EFFECTIVELY TERMINATED ITS RELATIONSHIP
In a statement made by Samsunspor, it was noted that Musaba has effectively severed his relationship with the club following the transfer news. The club expressed that the player did not participate in training without permission and refused to be included in the match squad.
The statement included the following remarks:
"Our footballer Anthony Musaba has effectively severed his relationship with our club following the transfer news that appeared in visual and social media.
Our footballer Anthony Musaba did not participate in yesterday's training without obtaining any permission from our club; furthermore, despite being planned to play in yesterday's match according to our Head Coach's decision, he refused to be included in the match squad.
In this context, all disciplinary violations committed by our footballer Anthony Musaba have been officially recorded by our club.
According to FIFA regulations, our footballer Anthony Musaba, who has a valid contract with our club, cannot negotiate with other clubs without written permission from our club. Similarly, no club can contact our players without our club's permission.
A disciplinary process has been initiated by our club against our footballer Anthony Musaba, who has clearly violated his existing contract and FIFA rules."
THOMAS REIS: IT WAS CLEARLY DISRESPECTFUL
Samsunspor Head Coach Thomas Reis also made statements regarding the issue after the Eyüpspor match. Reis stated that Musaba's behavior in recent weeks has disappointed him, and he revealed that he had a conversation with the player, who communicated that he did not want to be in the squad.
Reis said, "I had a meeting with him today… I asked if he wanted to be in the squad. He told me he did not want to be in the squad," he stated.

Reis also mentioned that they would grant the team leave until December 31 and would regroup afterward, stating that Musaba must attend this gathering. The German coach said, "If he does not come, the club will have to take action in this regard," he added.
