HEAVY SNOW IN SIVAS, KAYSERI, AND YOZGAT
The Meteorology has announced that heavy snowfall is expected in the surroundings of Sivas and Kayseri, as well as in the east of Yozgat, starting from the afternoon hours. It was stated that the precipitation would be effective until late tomorrow night, and therefore, citizens should be careful and take precautions against disruptions in transportation, icing, and frost risk.
TEMPERATURE IN ISTANBUL WILL DROP TO 1 DEGREE
According to the evaluations of the Meteorology, air temperatures in Istanbul will drop sharply starting from Wednesday night. It is expected that the combination of humid air coming from the Marmara region and cold air descending from the Balkans will cause temperatures to decrease to 1 degree. It is predicted that the precipitation in the city will turn into mixed rain and, in higher areas, into pure snowfall on Thursday. It has been noted that there is a high probability of snow cover formation, especially in high-altitude districts such as Çatalca, Silivri, and Başakşehir.
