After the postponement of the CHP's congress case to October 24, attention has turned to Özgür Özel and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. It is expected that the two figures will meet this week, hosted by Murat Emir. The meeting, which is planned to take place under the pressure of lawmakers disturbed by the tension within the party, is considered a critical step towards resolving the issues.

After the controversial party congress case of the CHP was postponed to October 24, there are hot developments within the party. While party officials evaluate the process with the words "one of the good scenarios has occurred," the silence of the party leader Özgür Özel and his predecessor Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu draws attention. It has been learned that the two leaders may have a surprise meeting within this week.

THE EXPECTED MEETING MAY BE IN ANKARA

According to CHP sources, the meeting will be hosted by the Deputy Group Chairman of the Parliament and Ankara Deputy Murat Emir. The meeting is expected to take place at Emir's home in Ankara.

INTENSE PRESSURE FROM DEPUTIES

According to a report in Türkiye newspaper; some deputies, disturbed by the tension and division within the party, are reportedly pressuring both Özel and Kılıçdaroğlu to "come together." It is claimed that the deputies are taking on a mediating role, and comments are being made in party circles that this meeting could be a critical step for resolving the issues.

APOLOGY FROM HİKMET ÇETİN TO KILIÇDAROĞLU

On the other hand, former CHP Chairman Hikmet Çetin called Kılıçdaroğlu to apologize for the statements he made earlier. It was reported that Çetin retracted his words, "I thought Mr. Kemal was in contact at the highest level for 'absolute nullity'," and that Kılıçdaroğlu responded to his apology by saying, "Your call is valuable; I was already against the 'normalization' process."

LÜTFÜ SAVAŞ: THE SOLUTION IS LAW

Lütfü Savaş, one of the names who filed a lawsuit for the cancellation of the Ordinary Congress, stated in a statement after the postponement decision that he opened the case entirely of his own volition. Stating, "I did not act under the direction of either Kılıçdaroğlu or the government," Savaş said, "I was a delegate during the congress. If there is any corruption or irregularity, the place for a solution is the law."

REACTION FROM GÜRSEL TEKİN

Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, denied the allegations that he applied to the Sarıyer District Election Board for the congress. Tekin stated that they only applied for the approval of the decision book, saying, "I am tired of correcting a lie every day. We are human too; there is a limit to our patience. Do not push our courtesy."
