In Turkey, temperatures will remain above seasonal norms until the middle of this week. The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that rainfall is expected in the northwestern parts of our country and in the western part of Eastern Anatolia starting from the middle of the week. Meanwhile, in Istanbul, temperatures will be at spring levels, but rain will be effective after Wednesday.

According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology; no precipitation is expected across our country. The northern, inner, and western parts of the country are expected to be partly cloudy, while other areas are predicted to be slightly cloudy and clear. Fog and occasional mist are expected in the Marmara, northeastern Aegean, northwestern Central Anatolia, and the inner parts of the Black Sea during the morning and night hours. The wind is expected to generally blow from the north, lightly to moderately at times.
NO RAIN EXPECTED ON THE WEEKEND
Fevzi Burak Tekin, a meteorology expert from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, stated that fog and mist are expected in the inner parts of the country, especially during the night and morning hours, warning that "reduced visibility and decreased air quality may cause negative effects, so caution is advised."
Tekin reported that no precipitation is expected nationwide over the weekend and on Monday, and the weather will be partly and slightly cloudy.
HEATWAVE TO CONTINUE IN ISTANBUL UNTIL WEDNESDAY
According to a statement from AKOM, "As the rainy weather that has been affecting Istanbul since the beginning of October leaves our region, it is expected that a mostly sunny sky will dominate until the middle of next week (Wednesday), with temperatures rising above 20 degrees in some areas to spring values (Indian summer)" was stated.
On the other hand, fog was effective in some regions of Istanbul during the morning hours. The fog also affected the Istanbul Strait and its surroundings. Due to the fog, visibility decreased in some districts.
METEOROLOGY GIVES DATE FOR HEAVY RAIN
According to the latest weather forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy rain is expected on Tuesday in the northwestern parts of our country and the west of Eastern Anatolia.
On Tuesday, rain will occur in the coastal areas of Marmara and the Western Black Sea, as well as in the west of Eastern Anatolia. On the other hand, intermittent rains are expected in the northern parts of our country on Wednesday and Thursday.
Among the provinces where heavy rain is expected on Tuesday are Edirne, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Bursa, Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Manisa, Zonguldak, Bartın, Sinop, Kastamonu, Kilis, Gaziantep, and Adıyaman.
Heavy rain will be effective in 30 provinces, including Istanbul, starting from the middle of the week. Provinces where heavy rain is expected on Wednesday include; Tekirdağ, Edirne, Istanbul, Yalova, Bursa, Bilecik, Çanakkale, Sakarya, Balıkesir, Manisa, Kütahya, Eskişehir, Bolu, Zonguldak, Karabük, Bartın, Kastamonu, Sinop, Ordu, Samsun, Giresun, Trabzon, Rize, Artvin, Erzurum, Ağrı, Adana, Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye, and Hatay.
