In a traffic accident in Çanakkale, two cars collided head-on, resulting in the death of 3 people and injuring 1. Following the accident, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
In a traffic accident where two cars collided head-on in Çanakkale, 3 people lost their lives, and 1 person was injured.
The accident occurred around 01:00 on the Ezine-Bayramiç Highway. The car with the license plate 17 TG 215, driven by Orhan Arslan, collided head-on with the car with the license plate 17 FC 707, driven by Rıdvan Zeybekoğlu, for reasons that are still unknown. After the accident, the scene turned into a battlefield.
3 PEOPLE DIED AT THE SCENE
The front parts of both cars were completely destroyed due to the severity of the crash. During the collision, parts of the cars were scattered on the road. Drivers who witnessed the accident reported the situation to the police and medical teams. Upon notification, the medical teams that arrived at the scene determined that the driver Orhan Arslan, passenger Yasemin Arslan, and an unidentified person in the car with the license plate 17 TG 215 had lost their lives at the scene.
The driver of the car with the license plate 17 FC 707, Rıdvan Zeybekoğlu, was injured. Zeybekoğlu was taken to ÇOMÜ Hospital for treatment by the ambulance that arrived at the scene. After the investigation by the prosecutor's office and the Crime Scene Investigation teams, the bodies were taken to the morgue of Ezine State Hospital.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED REGARDING THE ACCIDENT
The police have initiated an investigation regarding the accident, and the vehicles were removed with the help of a tow truck. The Ezine-Bayramiç Highway, which was accessible from one side, was reopened to two-way traffic.
