CAR FELL INTO THE CREEK BED
According to the information obtained, the car with the license plate 35 CPV 616 lost control for an undetermined reason while in motion and fell into the creek bed. Due to the remote location of the accident, the vehicle, which was not noticed at the time of the incident, was found today following a tip-off by gendarmerie and health teams.
2 PEOPLE DIED, 2 PEOPLE FLED
In the examination conducted by the teams dispatched to the area upon the tip-off, it was determined that 21-year-old Nergiz T. and her 16-year-old sister B.T. lost their lives in the wrecked vehicle. Initially, there were claims that the vehicle was swept away by floodwaters, but as a result of the technical examinations conducted by the gendarmerie teams at the scene, it was determined that the incident was a suspicious traffic accident.
IT WAS ALLEGED THAT THEY FLED DUE TO OUTSTANDING WARRANTS
Investigators deepening the inquiry identified that there were two more individuals who survived the accident in the vehicle. It was claimed that D.Y. (28) and T.D. (33), who were passengers in the vehicle, fled the scene leaving the deceased sisters behind due to their outstanding warrants for various crimes.
NUMEROUS CRIMINAL RECORDS EMERGED
In the investigations, it was revealed that D.Y. and T.D., who survived the accident, had numerous criminal records in police records. D.Y. was captured and taken into custody by gendarmerie teams during an operation. Meanwhile, a large-scale investigation was launched in the region to capture T.D., who was reported to have outstanding warrants for three different crimes and disappeared after the accident.
